Louise Støjberg
Louise is the singer in Zenobia. She has a deep passion for the stories, images, and language found in the Danish song treasury. Besides singing, she plays guitar in Zenobia and occasionally the trombone, if a polka sneaks into the repertoire.
Louise won ‘Folk Singer of the Year (Vocalist)’ at the ‘DMA Folk 2017’ for her work with, among others, Zenobia.
Louise is also an assistant professor at the Southern Denmark Academy of Music in Esbjerg and a vocal teacher at MGK at Kolding Music School.
In addition to Zenobia, Louise writes and performs in a duo with Martin Rauff and is often featured as a soloist in various contexts.
There is an overview of Louise’s projects and releases on her own website
