Zenobia has played in many different places:

Concerts
All Zenobia concerts include Zenobia’s own songs as well as well-known seasonal songs and other hits from the Danish song treasury. During the concerts, folk music is always represented by 2-3 pieces. Community singing is also part of the program if there are songbooks, hymnals, or song sheets available. Everything is interwoven with Zenobia’s stories and anecdotes. See a sample of a live concert on YouTube.
Zenobia and Kirstine Sand
In the autumn of 2026, Zenobia will perform alongside violinist and folk musician Kirstine Sand. At these concerts, we will play and sing our way through the autumn with interpretations of well-known songs from the Danish song tradition. In addition, Zenobia will perform some of the group’s own songs, and Kirstine Sand will contribute new folk music compositions.
Christmas Concert 2026
Zenobia’s Christmas concert is built around well-known and beloved songs of the Advent and Christmas seasons, spiced with opportunities for the audience to sing along and lively folk music numbers.
For the Christmas concert, the group is joined by Kirstine Sand (violin) and Torben Sminge (flugelhorn and EWI).
Musical Church Services
Zenobia performs the prelude, postlude, and music during communion, as well as an interlude if desired. Additionally, the group is happy to accompany the congregational hymns. The selection of hymns is typically arranged in collaboration between the minister and Zenobia to ensure it suits both the day’s scripture readings and Zenobia’s folk-inspired style.
Festivals
Zenobia has performed at festivals on numerous occasions, offering everything from standard festival concerts to morning sing-alongs or church concerts held as part of the festival program. Like all Zenobia performances, these concerts feature a blend of songs, folk music, and storytelling. Audience sing-alongs can also be included, provided the concert format and venue are suitable.
