Louise Støjberg

Louise is a singer in Zenobia. She has a deep passion for the stories, imagery, and language found in the Danish song tradition. In addition to singing, she plays guitar in Zenobia—and occasionally the trombone, should a polka find its way onto the setlist.

Louise won the award for ‘Folk Singer (Vocalist) of the Year’ at the 2017 DMA Folk Awards for her work with Zenobia and other projects.

She is also an assistant professor at the University of Southern Denmark’s Academy of Music in Esbjerg and a singing teacher for the MGK program at Kolding Music School.

Beyond Zenobia, Louise writes and performs—including in a duo with Martin Rauff—and frequently appears as a soloist in various contexts.
